

Assessment and Recommendation for Southwest
As a part of the business capstone course at Biola University, Strategic Management, students are tasked with choosing a company to analyze. This semester long project includes four in-depth presentations on Market Positioning, Industry's Future, a Situation Analysis and a final presentation with an Assessment and Recommendation. For this project, my group selected Southwest.
At the time, Spring 2023, Southwest had just had it's winter holiday meltdown and the airline industry was experiencing an unprecedented amount of travelers. These factors made this an incredible time to learn about the airline industry. Overall, my biggest takeaway from this project was learning how to collaborate with others. As a team we worked together for 4 months and ended with really cool final project.
